The "SmartFold" SCR3500 mini USB reader is a fully ISO7816 compliant CAC/PIV approved contact smart card reader suitable for a wide range of application areas for government, enterprise and home use. Due to its small design, this ID1 reader is ideal to be bundled with smart cards and software to support large scale project roll outs.
Typical applications areas of this reader are in the field of electronic ID cards, social security cards, secure network log-on, e-Banking and online shopping, loyalty and e-Coupon cards as well as for online gaming activities. Due to its compact design the SCR3500 is ideally suited as a mobile reader device which easily fits into the pocket of the user, or can be attached to a key ring.

Steps for Downloading Drivers
- Click URL above titled Identiv uTrust SmartFold SCR3500 USB 2.0 Type-A Contact Smart Card Reader Driver Download Page
- Scroll down to uTrust SmartFold SCR3500 Family
- Underneath Downloads header, select Driver based off current operating system and click Download>>
- Open file at the bottom of the web browser in the Download Bar (*Depending on browser i.e. Chrome, Edge or Firefox)
